Douglas joined Pixelumen Lab in June of 2019 and serves as the field service technician responsible for commissioning new projects, and maintaining/ inspecting current installations and general field service and office work. He is passionate about the intersection of design and technology and how he can join these two to create impactful looks that inspire.    

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Doug  has over 20 years of experience in the live entertainment industry. Prior to joining Pixelumen Lab, he worked in numerous positions including Production Manager for 1st Stage Theatre, Technical Director at College of St. Benedict & St. John's University, and Production Manager of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at The University of Notre Dame. He holds a B.F.A. in Technical Production and Design from Marshall University, a Certificate in Technical Production with a concentration in theatrical lighting from The Yale School of Drama and a M.F.A. in Technical Design and Production from Florida State University.
