About
Robbie Hayes is a graduate of Trinity University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a concentration in design and engineering.
Robbie was the Technical Director for the Davis Performing Arts Center and the Theater and Performance Studies Program at Georgetown University. He taught theatrical design and stagecraft for 10 years and conducted extensive research into interactive theatre design on more than 65 theatrical productions.
Prior to his work with Georgetown University, he was the Technical Director for the Northlight Theatre in Skokie, IL a LORT D, award-winning regional theatre.
His theatrical design portfolio includes extensive work on over 200 productions in Washington, Chicago, New York, Miami, Toronto, and Hong Kong. Theatres include Arena Stage, Theater J, Round House, Metro Stage, The Hub, Rorschach Theatre, and many more. He is a resident artist with The Hub and a Rorschach Theatre company member emeritus.
